[SOLVED] Adding Users to Second User Group & Second Email List

1 week 3 days ago #337936 by krileon

Oh, I got the impression the "onAfterUserRegistration" was only triggered during sign-up. Will this trigger still work if the user had gone in later on to edit their profile?

No, see my previous reply. You'll need to add the Edit triggers noted above to deal with profile edits.

Speaking of triggers, are there any docs on the long list of triggers that I can refer to?

Yup! We've a list of triggers AND their variables below. 😊

Thanks again!     The trigger I ended up needing was OnAfterUserProfileSaved.  (I'm just putting it here to refer back to it later)

Follow-up question before marking this topic solved.   I have forgotten, where or how to:
1. Check update logs for things like Profile changes
2. Getting emails to admins to notify them of such changes.

I seem to remember being able to do this on another site but can't remember how - It's been a while.

Okay, I discovered that I need to install the CB Profile Update Logger plugin.   So my only question now is how do I determine who to assign as a CB Moderator?

CB Moderators are based off your Moderator View Access Level in CB > Configuration > Moderation. If someone has usergroups that qualifies them for the selected view access level then they've moderator permissions. So typically you'd make a usergroup and view access level specifically for those.

Excellent!   I also learned that I specifically add an email address making it easy if I only need one person to get the notice.     Lots of options!

I have to say (like I have in the past).  The CB/CBSubs combo never ceases to amaze me!   The customization options keep bringing me back as the go-to option for user management.  Thanks!
